What problem are we solving? Its beyond dispute that right now, there is a fundamental change occurring to the global economy - ostensibly driven by 'digital transformation' built upon blockchain technology. What this means is reality is a shift from a society mainly built around the physical, to a digital one, with digital 'things' and indeed from a governance perspective, 'digital people'. Interconnecting between the digital world and the physical, is that of an internet of value whereby 'value' is exchanged freely and seamlessly. During this session we will look to unwind the current transformations and examine just what they me for you and your organisation and how to capitalise by embracing them.

What problem are we solving? Participating in Bitcoin mining enters you into a unilateral contract with the issuer.
In the case of Bitcoin, there exists a unilateral contract between the issuer of the Bitcoin tokens and the nodes that run the network. This unilateral contract was issued by Satoshi Nakamoto with the performance fulfilling the six steps of Section 5 in the Bitcoin white paper.
Key takeaways from this session will include:
• Who enters into the contract with the issuer of Bitcoin;
• Entitlements and obligations of all parties involved. -

What problem are we solving? As blockchain's popularity has risen in recent years, and more users have flocked to leverage and use the technology, it became clear very quickly that some blockchains aren't ready or able to handle the degree of transaction and data throughput this surge created. So, block size clearly matters, and it matters because block size affects both a network's speed and capacity. Scale is critical to sustainable new revenue streams. During this presentation we will explain and then examine what we mean with 'on chain', 'off chain' and 'sidechain', and carefully examine what blockchain scalability should include and how to apply this to your business.
Key takeaways for this session will include:
• Understand why transaction per second (ups) is the metric that matters
• Understand the role block size plays in increasing tps
• Understand why scale comes before widespread enterprise adoption -

Chris Light CEO & Founder E-Livestock Global LLCChris LightWhat problem are we solving? According to a survey by KPMG and Forrester, only a third of decision makers trust their company’s data. However, blockchain technology has the potential to revolutionise the way we look at data, with better security and data quality. With so much data now available to us, authenticating data and preserving its integrity is vital. The main driver of adoption for blockchain is its security. From healthcare to retail to public administration, organisations have started experimenting with blockchain technology to handle data, to prevent data leaks and hacking. For example, in healthcare, blockchain can ensure that multiple signatures are required at every level of data access. If we imagine blockchain as a huge data lake, filled with ‘data blocks’ each containing a complete history of all that block’s transactions, and available for your company’s analysis, meaning you could become closer to your customer than ever before, through utilisation of blockchain!

What problem are we solving? For widespread implementation of blockchain technology, new business and software products that integrate with existing software and data are required. The challenge of moving from concept to deployment poses the greatest current difficulty for blockchain adoption. Right now, there are many people integrating new blockchain functionality with legacy applications and data. A legacy integration effort will introduce both new blockchain functionality and moving existing functionality to a blockchain environment. Although this task may sound straightforward, integrating with legacy systems involves many subtle implications, not least of all - scalability!

PANELLISTSComing soonTBAWhat problem are we solving? With the impacts of the current cost of living crisis being felt all over Europe, customer confidence is also seeing a sharp downturn in some areas too. However, the key to customer retention during difficult economic times is trust, with customers preferring and indeed potentially even being prepared to pay a little more with a brand that they feel they can trust. So, ask yourself 'do your customers really trust you?' and 'do you trust them?'.
Establishing two-way trust relies on reputation and digital identity to enable Peer2Peer (P2P) transactions. Step forth blockchain - It can guarantee identity and improve trust, blockchain can store and manage both things. Companies could maintain reputational identities that establish their trustworthiness as a business partner or vendor. In the trust economy, “identity” confirms membership in a nation or community, ownership of assets, access to benefits or services, and, more fundamentally, that the individual or entity exists. Blockchain makes it possible to share information selectively with others to exchange assets safely and efficiently and—perhaps most promisingly—to proffer digital contracts (smart contracts). This transforms reputation into a manageable attribute that can be baked into an organisation’s interactions with others.
Key takeaways from this session will include:
• Understand evolving customer expectations and how to leverage for your business
• Understand how you can increase transparency in core areas that drive customer decisions (e.g., supply chain, provenance, data handling) -

What problem are we solving? For businesses and government agencies small and large, cyber-attacks are now commonplace and a risk to business, and in recent years we have even seen some business fatalities because of catastrophic data breaches. CISO's and security and risk leaders alike need solutions that can help them stay that one step ahead, and therefore CISOs and security and risk leaders alike could look to the potential of blockchain (that aren't already!)
Blockchain delivers integrity assurance, and so it’s a natural application to apply blockchain to cyber security solutions and leverage its integrity assurance capabilities. Blockchain's key component is its distributed network removes a central target point for hackers that could be compromised, making it one of the most effective mitigation strategies for cyber threats in an increasingly sophisticated threat landscape. During this session we will review the potential applications of blockchain within the cyber security and business continuity/ reputational risk field, and how it can not only form an effective form of prevention, but also detection and trace if an attack should occur.

MODERATORComing soonTBAWhat problem are we solving? 2022 saw the collapse one of the largest crypto exchanges resulting in criminal charges against its founder. This was in the context of a crash in the speculative bubble for digital assets that was years in the build up. This might sound bad for the industry, but for blockchain applications it is a chance to shine. Regulatory compliant and business-centric applications and use cases now have more room to capture attention and a rapidly maturing ecosystem in which to operate. Hear from experts as they examine the current landscape for blockchain networks and who is well positioned to leverage an environment with increased regulation and active oversight.
Key takeaways from this session will include:
• Understand why enterprise blockchain development will accelerate as the result of the latest crypto winter and the collapse of large scale frauds;
• Learn what attributes to consider when evaluating blockchain networks; and
• Insight into the future regulatory hurdles that developers need to consider. -

Kurt is an expert communicator on all things bitcoin, and has been at the forefront of testing computer science theories and breaking bitcoin scaling records as an honest node operator on the BSV blockchain.What problem are we solving? The difference between on-chain and off-chain transactions, being the two kinds of transactions possible on blockchain, is what many people are yet to understand. Off-chain does not necessarily mean "not on the blockchain," it basically means that it's not on a publicly accessible service. Just like any organisation would not store their data on a publicly accessible database or directory, off-chain storage means that the data is not publicly accessible. If you apply these concepts to a traditional cloud service, it would be very similar to a public cloud Vs. private cloud. Both On-chain and Off-chain transactions have their own unique benefits and are mostly employed based on suitability to the parties involved. During this session we will be taking a deep dive into the uniqueness of both kinds of transactions, to outline how they are applied, and why each one may be preferred for a particular purpose.
Key takeaways from this session will include:
• Understand when information should go on-chain
• Understand how off-chain activities are a necessary complement
• Understand how to balance transparency and privacy -

What problem are we solving? With over 5 billion people around the world already connected to the internet, and as we prepare for the next 1 billion to join, we need to move towards more peer-to-peer networks. Peer-to-peer networking can save money and is more efficient than many other types of networking. It is more secure and provides the scope for flexible, decentralised, and efficient networking, making it a powerful tool in any business's arsenal!
Peer-to-peer networking has the potential to change globally how we collaborate, because a peer-to-peer network consists of nodes working together, with equal rights. Currently, the predominant networking architecture is that of client/server, where the client merely consumes the service provided to it from the server.
