Angus is the founder and CEO of Centbee.com, a leading global Bitcoin SV payments business. This is the culmination of a career founding and leading innovative payments businesses in South Africa.

Angus was part of the founding team in 2000, and later CEO of eBucks.com. As the world’s first bank-backed digital currency, this business made a lasting mark on the South African eCommerce, banking, and loyalty landscape. He served FirstRand for 11 years in various senior roles, including leading the Vodacom Financial Services partnership. Following that, he was the Head of Alliance Banking and CIO at Mercantile Bank Limited for four years. He introduced payment capabilities to Blue Label Telecoms and then MMI Holdings, serving at an executive level with these listed companies.

He has helped create several ‘challenger’ FinTech ventures in the past few years, including BETTR Bank, a neobank serving Gen-Z; Intergreatme, a self-sovereign digital identity app; and Centbee.

Angus was educated at Wits (BSc Hons) and the University of Oxford (AMP). He is a member of the Institute of Directors and serves on the Technical Standards Committee of the Bitcoin Association (Switzerland).

Jake Jones

Jake is the Head of Infrastructure and Business Program Manager at the BSV Association. He has a background in software development, IT, and group insurance. He joined the BSV Association in 2021 part-time while serving as the CTO of a Canadian group insurance firm where he began writing blockchain courses for the BSV Academy. Shortly thereafter he helped construct university course material on blockchain and instruct courses at International universities. He then joined the BSVA full-time helping lead and work on projects such as Teranode and BSV-IPv6 Integration. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from MacEwan University and serves as a Committee Member of the Bitcoin SV Technical Standards Committee.

Kevin Healy

Kevin has worked as an independent iOS developer in San Diego, Calif., since late 2013, and has created around a dozen apps that were published to the App Store. He became interested in the Bitcoin space as a speculative investor in 2015 and then in late 2016 he became interested in Ethereum because of the programmable money potential.

He published an introductory to Ethereum YouTube video that became popular during the 2017 bubble. However, after realizing the limitations of Ethereum he put any Ethereum projects on hold and waited for them to fulfill their scaling promises.

Years later, with the introduction of BSV and sCrypt, he realized that BSV was the most promising blockchain and could fulfill the programmable money promises at scale that Ethereum couldn’t. He published a video defending Craig Wright as being Satoshi Nakamoto which became popular, and has since been researching and educating himself on BSV development.

Thomas Giacomo is a Web3 executive and entrepreneur. As a member of the management team at the BSV Association, he spearheads the development of open-source core infrastructure components and developer tools for the BSV Blockchain. Thomas previously served as Head of Product at the publicly listed company Taal, and co-founded WeCan Group, where he led the creation of over 10 blockchain products as a blockchain venture builder. He is an award-winning entrepreneur, having founded and sold three companies. Additionally, Thomas is a university lecturer, conference speaker, seasoned investor, and judge at international startup incubators. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Finance from HEC Montreal, as well as Master's degrees in entrepreneurship from ESCP Europe and research from Mines Paris.

Todd is a former neuroscience and anatomy tutor, he has a strong background in education, communicating abstract models for complex systems and has worked closely with academics to develop virtual resources and thorough assessments to ensure graduates have the required knowledge to work within a wide variety of disciplines.

As a bitcoin enthusiast for over a decade it was the liberation of the Bitcoin protocol as BSV which allowed him to develop the deeper comprehension of the system intricacies. Todd has a keen interest in data science, software architecture, Metanet and the networking behind bitcoin, working with various groups to explore the synergies between the BSV blockchain and other protocols such as IPv6.

Ty Everett is a long-time digital privacy advocate and leading blockchain pioneer. He was born and raised in Oregon, where he developed a fascination with computers and technology from a young age. For his high school senior project, Ty developed a privacy-oriented social network while attending college-level computer science courses.
