Evolution London Food and Drink: Where to Eat When Attending LBC25

London Blockchain Conference 2025 is held at Evolution, London. A glass-fronted venue in the middle of Battersea Park with views of the River Thames. There couldn’t be a better spot for us to gather and discuss the future of blockchain and business.

If you need a break between talks, somewhere to grab a coffee in the morning, or to network once the conference is over, the central London location means there are plenty of options available. If you’ve found a hotel near Evolution Battersea, make sure to check their on-site café or restaurant too – you’ll find some real gems.

Here are just a few of our favourites nearby to add to your list of where to eat in Battersea.

Picnic in the Park at the Pear Tree Café

Just a stone’s throw from Evolution, you’ll find the picturesque Pear Tree Café. A circular glass venue with outdoor seating overlooking the lake, this is the ideal spot for lunch on a sunny day.

Serving brunch and lunch favourites from 8am until 3pm, and BBQ specials later, you can enjoy everything from acai bowls and pancakes to burgers and salads.

Just want a drink? No problem. Grab a coffee, cocktail, or even a bottle of prosecco and enjoy one of London’s best green spaces.

2. Mix Things Up with a Blank Street Matcha

Take a short break from the conference to get some fresh air and wander over to Blank Street to try one of their now iconic matchas.

A New York cult favourite, now in London, there’s a coffee shop and van near the conference venue where you can reenergise. We’d recommend the white chocolate matcha if you have a sweet tooth, and the pistachio latte is pretty great, too. However, they also serve up all your familiar favourites like americano, flat white, and cappuccino.

3. Mingle At Megan’s Battersea Power Station

For casual indoor dining during the day, Megan’s is a must among Battersea Power Station restaurants. A London food scene staple, known for its breakfasts, lunches and light bites, you’re sure to find something for every taste here. Some of our favourites include the shakshuka and open kebabs.

If you’ll be dining after the conference ends, then Megan’s evening menu will be available for the picking. Expect a wide selection of kebabs, sharing mains, and salad bowls. Plus, a wide selection of aperitifs. Happy hour is 3pm to 6pm on weekdays!

4. Dine at Dishoom and Spice Things Up

Less than a mile’s walk away from Evolution and the conference, you’ll find the now TikTok-famous Dishoom. This Bombay-inspired favourite has garnered a reputation for sublime food amongst classy surroundings, and the Battersea restaurant is no different.

With all-day dining options, visitors can expect comfort food and cocktails. Plus, there are plenty of vegetarian and vegan options available. You really can’t go wrong with okra fries and samosas.

5. Journey Through Michelin Star Dishes at Joia

If you’re looking for something more ‘upmarket’ that’ll impress the new connections you’ve made at the London Blockchain Conference, may we suggest Joia at the art’otel?

‘Joia’ means ‘jewel’ in Portuguese, and we think it’s a real diamond of the food scene. Located on the hotel’s 15th floor, there are impressive views of the Power Station, as well as a rooftop bar for after-dinner drinks.

Joia is the first London restaurant by two Michelin-starred Henrique Sá Pessoa and is inspired by his Portuguese culinary heritage. Book a table here and you can expect Iberian delicacies and unique dishes that are made with British produce.

6. Enjoy Authentic Italian at Angoletto

Not a fan of chain restaurants, and want something a little more humble? Well, just outside the park, near Queenstown Road station, you’ll find this Italian classic trattoria.

Marketed as Battersea’s number one authentic Italian restaurant, dining here means only the freshest ingredients, a warm atmosphere, and a good glass of wine or two. The antipasti are great for a light bite with like-minded people or new friends, and they serve up the usual pastas and pizzas you’d expect from an Italian restaurant. The pan-fried chilli and garlic broccoli makes an excellent side dish!

Are There Any Food Halls Nearby?

If you’re not sure what you’re in the mood for or you and your friends can’t agree, the Arcade food hall at Battersea Power Station should be your destination after the conference at Evolution.

Taking inspiration from street market culture, there’s 24,000 square feet of space including a food hall, two bars, three restaurants, as well as private dining rooms, serving up 13 different cuisines. Choose from Asian favourites like Thai Phed, Cantonese Siu Siu, and Indian Hero, or taste the Middle East at Shatta & Toum and US-style smash burgers at Manna.

Are There Restaurants at the Conference Venue?

Evolution Battersea is a purpose-built event space, so there isn’t an onsite restaurant. That said, the conference will be making food arrangements – either as catering, or as food stalls where attendees can grab a bite.

But even if that doesn’t hit the culinary spot, with the venue’s prime location, as you can tell from the recommendations above, you’ll never be far from your next meal. And, if you’re not one to dine out, the park makes the perfect spot for a lunchtime packed lunch picnic!

Heard great things about a nearby eatery? We’d love to hear about it and share it with our attendees. Get in touch via social media. We’re on X, Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
